Cross sections are crucial to understanding the regional or local structural and stratigraphic relationships that lead to better characterization of a reservoir. With GVERSE Geomodeling, the interpreter is able to create structural and stratigraphic cross sections; from one well to multi wells.

This can be done in four different ways:
- Well to Well
- Define Projected
- Define Buffer Projected and Block Diagram (good for planning wells)
- Using vertical or directional wells and opening as many cross section as needed to be able to see every cross section in a 3D environment

Additionally, the interpreter can add seismic as a back drop and use the seismic velocity model in the cross section to understand the study area better.
