This year the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Annual Convention and Exhibition (AAPG ACE) finds itself in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently the world’s largest professional geological society, AAPG has over 30,000 members from all over the world. AAPG’s Annual Exhibition and Conference brings in industry leaders from over 78 countries, attracting an average of 6,900 global attendees.
LMKR has been associated with AAPG for almost two decades, since our inception in 1994. We have grown pretty dramatically since then and now service oil & gas clients in over 80 countries and have a global footprint with a combination of LMKR offices and those of our technology partners and distributors. Given our growth over the years, AAPG ACE has proven to be one of the best platforms to exhibit our products and services, aiding increased visibility in the industry. GeoGraphix demonstrations are always in demand and attract a good sized audience. In the 3 years that LMKR has been responsible for the sales, marketing and development of GeoGraphix, we have worked hard to maximize its scalability and performance while developing new features in response to user requests.
We have a lot to be excited about at this years’ AAPG ACE as we will be showcasing our latest release GeoGraphix 2013 and its key capabilities of:
- Making this well better than the last through interactive sealed earth modeling while interpreting.
- Visualize where the next BIG opportunity lies with state of art GIS, mapping, data mining, & visualization.
- Integrate seismic interpretation with the geomodel through time-tested real-time velocity modeling and depth conversion.
- Optimize field development efficiency with quick and easy field planning tools.
You can find us at Booth 1815 where I and the rest of the GeoGraphix team will be ready to show you the latest and greatest in GeoGraphix. Looking forward to seeing you there.
P.S. While in Pittsburgh don’t forget to visit Mount Washington – the best place to get a breathtaking view of the city and its three rivers.
