Picking a seismic horizon in a 2D line or 3D seismic in a 2D view can be a slow process and sometimes tedious since you do not have a full picture of the 2D line or the seismic cube. However, with GVERSE Geophysics you can easily pick any horizon using different types of event detection, doublet handling, picking, amplitude threshold, picking constraints, and checking the level of confidence for each horizon pick using the pick attributes tool (a measure of goodness of fit of the actual horizon with the marked horizon picks) in a full 3D environment.
In the 3D view, the interpreter has the freedom to rotate the view in any direction and see the full picture of the seismic cube or the 2D lines, making detection in the seismic very easy and with better results.
